REF: Codie Shelton/Troye Wright Arrest
DATE: July 20, 2000

On July 20, 2000 at approximately midnight, Troye Wright was arrested upon a secret indictment on charges of Aggravated Murder, Felonious Assault and Tampering with Evidence. Troye Wright was arrested in the area of 650 Sugar Lane in the City of Elyria. Mr. Wright is 28 years of age and resides at 321 Jackson Street, Elyria.

On July 20, 2000 at approximately 1:00 PM, Codie Shelton was arrested upon a secret indictment on charges of Aggravated Murder and Tampering with Evidence. Codie Shelton was arrested at 1023 West 19th Street, Lorain, Ohio. Mr. Shelton is 32 years of age and resides at 895 West River Road, North, Elyria.

These indictments were the result of a long term investigation into the death of Neil Jackson which occurred on May 7, 1999 in the area of Mussey Avenue. Both individuals were transported to Lorain County Jail for incarceration pending arraignment in Lorain County Common Pleas Court. Bond on both individuals was set by Lorain County Common Pleas Court respectively at two million dollars each.
