REF:Jason C. Ream Case

On August 16, 2002, the Elyria Police Department received a complaint from Children Services in reference to an inappropriate relationship between a teacher's aide and a student at Edison School.

Through the investigation it was discovered that Jason C. Ream of Elyria, age 28, a fourth and fifth grade teacher's aide at Edison School was involved with a 17-year-old female student attending Edison School.

On August 20, 2002, Jason C. Ream voluntarily came to the Elyria Police Department to be interviewed. As a result of this interview he was charged with Sexual Battery (F-3). Our investigation of Jason C. Ream continues.
