REF: Matthew L. Noble Homicide

On 05/31/00 at approx. 0254 hours officers of the Elyria Police Department responded to a complaint of a robbery of a taxi driver in the area of 1943 Fowl Road. One of the responding officers while checking the area located the body of a male subject in the parking lot of 1930 Fowl Road. The officer checked the subject and found no vital signs and indications of an apparent injury.
The subject was identified as Matthew L. Noble, 49 years of age, who was residing at 142 Capital Court in the City of Elyria. The death is being investigated as being of a suspicious nature and the Lorain County Coroner will conduct an autopsy.
The death of Matthew Noble does not appear to be related to the complaint concerning the robbery of the taxi driver.
