On Saturday, September 2, 2000, beginning at 9:00AM, the Elyria Police Department and the City of Elyria will be disposing of, by public auction, property that has been deemed no longer of use by the City and property that is unclaimed or has been seized by the police department. Included in the list of unclaimed and/or seized property are over 175 bicycles and 18 motor vehicles. All miscellaneous items of property, including the bicycles, will go on auction starting at 9:00AM. All motor vehicles will be auctioned immediately following the disposal of the miscellaneous property items.
