Murder
On Thursday, November 14, 2002,
David A. Hollis, a 39 year old B/M, of 560 Turner Street, Elyria, and Sam
Hairston a 40 year old B/M, of New Bedford, Massachusetts were indicted for two
(2) counts of Aggravated Murder and one (1) count of Aggravated Robbery for the
January 29, 1991, murder of Richard Movrin and Ricky Newson.
Both
David A. Hollis and Sam Hairston were involved in a double homicide that took
place in the early morning hours in the area of Portia Court in Wilkes Villa.
This investigation lead to the
indictment of David A. Hollis and Sam Hairston due to new investigative leads
that were recently received and developed by the Elyria Police Detective
Bureau.
