PRESS RELEASE

On April 29, 2003 the Elyria Police Department received a report of a dead body located on the west bank of the Black River under the Ohio Turnpike bridge in Elyria Ohio. The body was located by construction workers, who had been working in the area of the State Route 57 bridge project.

Officers responded and found the deceased to be an adult caucasian male inside a sleeping bag. The initial investigation has not revealed anything of a suspicious nature. The Lorain County Coroners Office responded and took custody of the deceased. The Lorain County Coroners office will determine the cause of death.

The identity of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending notification of family.
